November 6, 2025 – Highlights of Mexico, Guatemala and Belize in 17 days
I discovered the wonderful world of the ancient Mayan civilization and the most beautiful corners of Mexico, Guatemala and Belize. In Mexico, I was fascinated by world wonders such as the pyramid of Chichen Itza and the mystical Uxmal, I admired the unique Palenque, the stunning turquoise waterfalls of Agua Azul, got to know the Indian communities of San Cristobal and enjoyed the sandy Caribbean beaches.
In Guatemala, I felt the energy of the mighty and impressive Tikal, admired the fairytale Lake Atitlan surrounded by volcanoes, mingled with traditional locals and explored picturesque colonial Antigua.
I ended my trip in Belize, on the island of Ambergris Caye, where I was greeted by a relaxed Caribbean atmosphere and wonderful snorkeling along a colorful coral reef. The whole experience was a perfect interweaving of Mayan history, unspoiled nature and tropical pleasure.
