April 25, 2026 – Highlights of South Africa in 12 days
Our journey was a true African fairytale, filled with contrasts, breathtaking nature, and unforgettable experiences. We began in Cape Town, where the ocean meets dramatic mountains, and ascended the iconic Table Mountain, enjoying spectacular views over the city and coastline. In the surroundings of Stellenbosch, we soaked in the relaxed atmosphere of rolling vineyards and indulged in exquisite wine tastings.
Our adventure continued in Johannesburg, a city deeply rooted in South Africa’s modern history. Visiting Soweto allowed us to feel the spirit of resilience, culture, and hope, while Pretoria impressed us with its grand avenues and historical landmarks.
We then immersed ourselves in the wild on a game-drive in Pilanesberg, where we encountered African wildlife in its natural habitat. The sense of wonder grew even stronger at the majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabve, where roaring water and mist create a truly awe-inspiring spectacle.
To conclude our journey, we enjoyed a game-drive in Chobe National Park in Botswana, where elephants gathered along the riverbanks, accompanied by hippos, crocodiles, and rich birdlife. It was a journey blending vibrant cities, fine wines, powerful history, and untamed nature—an experience that will stay with us forever.
